Make it happen

Heat oven to 170°C fan and line a 20 cm round cake tin.

Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and sugar. Whisk eggs with oil and vanilla.

Fold wet mixture into dry, then stir through grated courgette and chocolate chips without overmixing.

Bake 35–45 minutes until a skewer comes out clean. Cool fully before slicing.
